Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Echo System is operated by the Echo Park founding team ("Echo", "we", "us"). We connect members in Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Northeast Los Angeles with local studios, trainers, and organizers ("Partners"). These Terms apply to anyone who visits, books, or hosts on the platform.
2. Pilot disclaimer
Echo System is currently in a limited pilot. Features, pricing, and partner availability may change without notice. We aim to be transparent and to make it right when something breaks — see Section 8.
3. Your account
You must be 18+ to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for any activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the platform, harass partners or members, or violate these Terms.
4. Bookings, credits, and memberships
A booking holds a seat in a partner's class. Credits and memberships are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe). Memberships renew automatically until cancelled from your wallet page. Credits generally do not expire during the pilot, but we may set expirations with notice in the future.
5. Cancellation and refunds
See our Cancellation Policy. In short: cancel a class booking 12+ hours before start to keep your credit. Memberships can be cancelled anytime and remain active through the current billing cycle.
6. Partner conduct & attendance
Partners are independent businesses, not employees of Echo. Class quality, safety, and instruction are their responsibility. Streaks and points only advance after the hosting partner confirms your attendance at the door. If a partner cancels a class, your credit is returned automatically.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Echo to harass others, scrape partner data, resell bookings, attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, or violate any law. We may remove content or accounts that do.
8. Liability & "as-is" service
Echo is provided "as-is" during the pilot. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid us in the prior 90 days. We're not liable for injuries that occur at partner locations — that's between you and the partner, who carries their own insurance.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the pilot evolves. We'll post the new version here with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
