Trainer Agreement

1. Who this applies to
This Agreement governs individual trainers ("Trainer", "you") who offer 1:1 or pod sessions on Echo System ("Echo", "we"). It's separate from and in addition to our Terms of Service, which also applies to your use of the platform.
2. Independent business
You're an independent business, not an employee, agent, or joint venturer of Echo. You control your own rates, schedule, and instruction. Nothing here is exclusive — you're free to also train or coach through other platforms.
3. How you get paid
Echo doesn't process payment for your hourly rate or session bookings — the rate shown on your profile is informational, and you and the member arrange and settle that directly. The one thing that flows through Echo is optional member tips: a member can tip you from your profile, the tip lands in Echo's Stripe balance, and 100% of it is paid out to you — Echo doesn't take a cut of tips.
Tip payouts are made monthly by bank transfer, covering the prior calendar month.
4. Insurance & liability
You're required to maintain your own general liability insurance covering your sessions and instruction, and you're solely responsible for the safety of members you train. Echo isn't a party to what happens during a session — that's between you and the member, consistent with our Terms of Service.
5. Conduct
You're responsible for the quality, safety, and professionalism of your sessions. Echo may remove your profile, suspend your account, or end this Agreement if we receive credible reports of unsafe conditions, harassment, or other conduct that puts members at risk.
6. Member information
You can see the name and message (if any) of a member who tips you. You may not use member information for marketing, resell it, or share it with anyone outside your own practice for any purpose beyond responding to that tip.
7. Term & termination
Either of us can end this Agreement at any time, for any reason, effective immediately.
8. Pilot disclaimer
Echo is currently in a limited pilot. These terms may change as the platform evolves — we'll notify you before any change that affects your payouts.
9. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement as the pilot evolves. We'll post the new version here with an updated date and email active trainers for material changes.
